Hi! I’m Josefina Huq

I’m based in Naarm/Melbourne and I write about place + play

My writing deals in extreme sentimentality while my research attempts to justify this as a good thing. I’m completing my PhD Playing the Short Story: Identifying Homeworlds. I work between academic and creative fields writing game reviews, features, and short stories and I’m currently writing for the Games of Consequence Lab at RMIT University and undertaking an ACMI-X residency.
